Cormeton Fire Protection has not only been providing Fire Protection since the 1970’s, but has also been a pioneer in innovation, as well as research and development. M Warburton Snr invented a Hose Winding & Brushing Machine, successfully sold and used by Fire Services worldwide, while M Warburton Jnr invented a Fire Tray specifically used for Fire Training Courses, as well as designing and building many other practical items.
This trait of wanting to help / how can we make it better mentality, has driven us as company, and enabled us to remain well established and well respected throughout the UK for over 50 years.
We are also keen promoters of supporting our local economy, local charities, sponsoring various activities and sporting clubs, and helping out where possible.
One of our unusual requests was to assist with the Blue Bird Project, a famous project known worldwide, which was pioneered by local diver Bill Smith and his team link to blue bird project https://www.bluebirdproject.info/team. We pressure tested some of the equipment on Blue Bird, a task we are very proud of, which seemingly no-one else could do.
Included in our unusual achievements must be the design and manufacture of a special prop, using CO2 Fire Suppression system components, to make a dragon breathe “smoke” on a well- known TV movie.
We have also assisted glider pilots, shooting ranges, hospitality venues, paintball sites and many many more.
